Save the Date
St. Elisabeth's Episcopal Church (Parish Hall), 590 black Oak Lane, Fort Worth 76114.
The Unbroken Circle: A Gallery of Art and musical performances reflecting on the liturgical year of the church will be held on May 18, 2013 from 5-7

Your Assistance is Needed!

St. Luke's has various areas of landscaping which need some extra TLC from time to time. Would you consider adopting a spot on the parish property to care for? Some areas have already been adopted and are being taken care of.  Please see Ricky Kelly or Br. David if you have some time to put towards this endeavor to keep our grounds looking presentable to our community and visitors.

EfM (Education for Ministry)

Education for Ministry meets every Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm in Abbitt Hall. This is a 4 year educational opportunity availible to all laity as well as clergy.  Please see Br. David for more information.  The next schedule of classes will begin in September.

"Hole-ier" tha Thou?

Picture
On Tuesday, April 30 around 6 pm a vehicle struck another vehicle and then struck the south wall of the church leaving sizable damage.  The police, with the aid of witnesses were able to find the other vehicle and driver after they left the scene. Church insurance has already sent an adjuster and a structural engineer and within a week or two reconstruction of the wall and the interior of the sacrristy should begin.  The St. Luke's community is glad that there were no injuries and appreciate the witnesses and the police who , working together were able to bring a swift conclusion to the incident.
